Utility

We must provide utility -- our content must:


  • be useful
  • must make life easier or more efficient
  • be actionable
  • include databases, traffic, weather, yellow pages
  • be evolving to continually meet the needs or our users

    I like the "actionable" angle a lot. The real test of utility is action, and we too often forget to apply that test.

    Me too Steve - I feel like "Actionable" actually means official and legal. Working content online in that direction makes me feel like posts will have the backbone to make them journalistic...
